iPhone 6s iOS 9.3.1 Review in Progress

1 / 9iPhone 6s iOS 9.3.1 Review in Progress

After spending several days using the iOS 9.3.1 software on the iPhone 6s Plus, this is an overview of the performance. This comes after using iOS 9.3 for over a week and testing the iOS 9.3.1 software over the weekend.

Up until the release I tested the iOS 9.3 beta on the iPhone 6s Plus, so I’ve been using the new features and near final software for longer than most. While I last used iOS 9.2.1 on the iPhone 6s Plus a while ago I can still share comparisons in performance and overall speed.

The iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.3.1 performance is just as solid as it was on iOS 9.2.1, and a little better than iOS 9.3. The phone is fast, apps work as expected and I have not had crashes or other errors in the last beta or in the final release that is avialable to everyone.

In short, the iOS 9.3.1 update did not impact the speed of the iPhone 6s Plus in any way. I’ve been testing the iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.3.1 battery life over the weekend and it appears a little better than on iOS 9.3. The Bluetooth, WiFi and LTE connectivity are all working as expected.

Installing the iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.3.1 update was relatively quick, and I did not run into any activation problems. Apps are all working as expected on iOS 9.3.1, with no major issues to report.

After using the beta and the final version of the iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.3.1 software, this is an update the users can install on this phone without waiting or worrying about the performance.

If you are sill on the fence, keep reading for reasons to install and some reasons you may want to wait to install iOS 9.3.1 on your iPhone 6s Plus.
